Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Club26 ("the Service"). By creating an account or joining the waitlist, you agree to these Terms. This document is provided in plain language — placeholder text pending legal review (LEGAL REVIEW).

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Club26, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Club26 (16 in some jurisdictions). You are responsible for compliance with the laws of your country.

3. What Club26 is

Club26 is a free prediction and collectible-cards game built around international football tournaments. There is no real-money wagering. Cards have no monetary value and cannot be cashed out.

4. No affiliation with FIFA

Club26 is independent. It is not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with FIFA, the 2026 World Cup organizers, or any national football federation, club, or player. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

5. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity on your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to: cheat or manipulate scores, harass other players, scrape the Service, attempt to reverse-engineer the app, upload malicious content, or use Club26 for any illegal purpose.

7. Your content

You retain ownership of any content you submit (group names, comments, profile info). You grant Club26 a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host and display that content for the purpose of running the Service.

8. Intellectual property

Club26 and all its components (logo, card designs, copy, code) are owned by Club26 or its licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute them without permission.

9. No real-money betting

Club26 is a game between friends. We do not accept wagers, we do not pay prizes in money, and we do not facilitate gambling. Any group-internal bets you make with friends are your responsibility and have nothing to do with Club26.

10. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Club26 will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

12. Termination

You can delete your account at any time (see /account-deletion). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of France. Disputes will be brought before the competent courts in France, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under your local law.
